Les Gets is a beautiful and traditional, Savoyard mountain village, with a fantastic selection of shops, cafés, bars and restaurants.

Les Gets is just one hour's drive from Geneva airport, 30 minutes from the railway station at Cluses, and approximately 8 hours drive from Calais, 8.5 hours from Zeebrugge.

During the ski season, Les Gets naturally offers the full range of facilities one would expect of a major winter sports destination, including a wide variety of ski slopes to accommodate all abilities.

From Les Gets you have access to the vast Portes du Soleil ski area - with over 650km of piste, making this the largest ski domaine in the world, linking 14 pretty villages in France and Switzerland.  The proximity of Mont Blanc ensures a long winter season and the 430 graded pistes, 4 snow-cross areas, 9 snow-parks, including the boarder's 'paradise' at Avoriaz plus hundreds of kilometres of free-ride, ensure skiing and boarding  for every ability.

In addition to the superb skiing there are plenty of other winter activities to enjoy in Les Gets, including parapenting, dog-sledding, paragliding, ski-joering (a mix of horse-riding and skiing) and snow-mobile to name but a few!  In the village there is bowling, cinema, ice-skating, the 'Grand Cry Territory' - the American-Indian themed fun area for children on the snow - and a spa/wellness centre.

But the fun need not fade away with the melting snow! There is much to lure you back to this stunning area in the summer months, with such surprising gems as the 18-hole golf course, in addition to some of the most beautiful walking in the Alps and the fantastic mountain biking, with 650 km of marked and graded trails, for which the area has hosted the world championships. The swimming lake with water-toboggan and children's playground is very popular in the summer months and plenty of exciting water-sports are on offer including kayaking on the nearby River Dranse, canyoning, fishing.  Add to these the climbing, riding and pony-riding lessons, tennis, mini-golf, Pétanque and quad-biking and there is something for everyone to enjoy.
