Alpine has had a presence in the Northern French Alps since 1997, initially working with local contractors to build a single chalet, then going on to build multiple chalets.
We began promoting  properties to the UK market in 2004, attending UK exhibitions and then, in 2006, Alpine began working closely with a local partner, based in Thonon in the French Alps, and established since 1978. By combining our portfolio we can offer the European markets a number of developments at any one time, ensuring we have properties to suit all budgets and requirements, from studio apartments to large chalets.  We can help locate the perfect property for you, be it as a holiday home, rental investment or to begin a new life.


Currently we have several superb properties available in the vast Portes du Soleil, (with 650 km of skiing in France and Switzerland this is the largest linked area in the world) including Châtel, La Chapelle d’Abondance and the newly-launched fabulous development of 33 apartments right in the heart of Les Gets. We have recently begun to work with a developer in an up-and-coming region of Savoie – Les Sybelles, which is the fourth largest ski area in France and only an hour from Grenoble or Chambery.  This region is very well known in France and just coming to the attention of the UK skier. Our properties are all located in ‘real’ villages with an all-year-round community so that whenever you visit your home in the mountains, there is always the local community resident there.


If you have a love of both water and the mountains then we have the answer for you.  The properties we have at  Evian-les-Bains have wonderful views of the lake and mountains and are  close to this  bustling all-year-round spa town.  Add to this the local skiing at only 10 minutes’ drive  and the Portes du Soleil at about 35 minutes’ drive, plus the world-famous Evian Royal golf course and you have the complete summer and winter activity experience.


Our latest venture is in  the fantastic Four Valleys area of Switzerland – recent changes in the property laws in Valais have relaxed the buying conditions, so if this  region  is the one for you, do not delay as the opportunity may not last very long!  We are delighted to offer a broad range of property  in this region. In  Veysonnaz, where we have 2 or 3 bedroom apartments, in Les Collons there are chalets ranging from 2 to 4 bedrooms – some with a guaranteed income. And in Villars we have superb and spacious 3 or 4 bedroom apartments.


Alpine work only with small  companies who have a great knowledge of and respect for the mountains and the area where they are building.  By always choosing existing  and traditional villages, these developers offer a true local experience with an all-year-round community with the added bonus of fantastic skiing.

Once you have decided which is the right property for you, our commitment  to you does not end. Alpine can also help you choose tiles, kitchen layouts, fireplaces, furniture, flooring and materials to complete your property to your taste. We will also keep you up to date with building progress by sending frequent pictures, giving you the secure knowledge that everything is on schedule and problem-free.
When your property is completed we can help with other issues such as rental, satellite TV, telephone connection, utility payments, insurance etc, even down to recommending the best restaurants, ski areas and passes, and the most welcoming bars, if you need it!

Alpine offers additional benefits to ensure you have complete peace of mind. For example, any monies paid are safe at all times as they are held in an ‘escrow’account by the Notary.  There is a bank guarantee to cover the unlikely event of anything happening to the developer, and finally a ten-year guarantee on the completed property.
